Around March-April 1943 Gardone and every other Arsenal and factory got ordered to discontinue marking manufacturer and year of production, probably as a counterintelligence move in case of invasion.
No moschetto got produced after September 1943.

* FNA produced a batch of 10k rifles with the PS prefix in 1941-42, allegedly for the Italian Police (Guardie di Pubblica Sicurezza)
** FNA in March- April 1943 discontinued marking the date on its guns, but the Savoy shield and other Royal army acceptance stamps tend to be present, so most likely these were made before September 8th 1943.
